DEALER CONFERENCE 2010 – SINGAPORE Denford announce Dealer conference
We are pleased to announce that once again a Denford Dealer Conference is planned to coincide with the F1 in Schools World Finals, which this year are being held in Singapore from the 20th to 22nd September 2010. The Dealer Conference will provide us with an opportunity to update you with all the latest Denford news, including plans for our new offices, showroom and manufacturing facilities, and of course all of the exciting new products and initiatives we have recently launched and those in the pipeline. At the moment we have a choice of 3 dates available for the Conference – the 20th, 21st or 22nd September. Both events are also planned to coincide with the 2010 Formula 1 SINGTEL Grand Prix (25th, 26th and 27th September) and if you would like to stay on to enjoy one of the best races in the Formula One Season, we are very pleased to be able to offer you an amazing 3 day ticket deal courtesy of the Singapore GP. After almost 60 years at its Birds Royd location, Denford Limited - a business which has built a world-wide reputation for quality and technological excellence – is to move in the new year to a new purpose-designed 18,500 sq ft facility on the opposite side of the River Calder, at Armytage Road, Brighouse.
The new premises will incorporate the company’s manufacturing facilities, including 3,200 sq ft of office space, as well as a dedicated showroom, demonstration and training facility.

Denford managing director, Simon Moorhouse, has signed up to champion a pioneering new qualification aimed at giving young people a hands-on education in manufacturing.
He has joined a national network of employer champions who work to encourage colleagues in the industry to get involved with the Diploma in Manufacturing and Product Design (MPD), which was introduced for 14 to 19 year olds in schools and colleges around England in September 2009. |

 Eric Gurey, of Sureweld, at the E.T.T.A., Limerick
Sureweld International Limited, Denford’s official Agent for the Republic of Ireland, attended the E.T.T.A. (Engineering Technology Teachers Association) Annual Conference at the Limerick Institute of Technology, Moylish Park, Limerick, on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November.
Sureweld provided demonstrations of 3D manufacturing, using the Denford Compact 1000 Pro Router; and Eric Gurey of their Educational Division stated:

Equipment and Curriculum Support Materials from Denford Limited
